These Terms govern your use of this website, including home.akhockey.ca, about.akhockey.ca, skatemills.akhockey.ca, akprivates.akhockey.ca, testimonials.akhockey.ca, and news.akhockey.ca (together, the "Site"), operated by AK Hockey International Inc. ("AK Hockey," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
These Terms do not cover AK Hockey 360, our separate training app, which has its own terms of service.
The Site provides informational content about our hockey training programs, camps, coaching staff, and Skatemill training facility licensing. Camp registration, orders, and other transactions are handled through separate systems linked from the Site, not directly on these pages.
Subscribing to our mailing list is optional. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.
If you submit information to us through a form on the Site (such as the mailing list signup), you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
The Site's content — including text, photos, videos, logos, and descriptions of our training methodology — is owned by AK Hockey and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, redistribute, or use it for commercial purposes without our permission.
The Site links to third-party destinations, including our contact and camp registration pages, social media profiles, and video hosting. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties.
The Site describes hockey skating and skills training programs, camps, and services. Physical training carries an inherent risk of injury. Nothing on the Site is a substitute for in-person, supervised coaching or professional medical advice. Consult a physician before beginning any new training program, particularly if the participant has an existing injury or medical condition.
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, AK Hockey is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including injury arising from training programs or camps described on it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, no matter which country, province, or state you're accessing the Site from, and any dispute not resolved directly is handled in the courts of British Columbia. This doesn't take away any consumer protection you're entitled to under the law of where you live, where that law says it can't be waived by contract.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
