Effective September 9, 2026
AK Hockey International Inc. ("AK Hockey," "we," "us") operates this website, including home.akhockey.ca, about.akhockey.ca, skatemills.akhockey.ca, akprivates.akhockey.ca, testimonials.akhockey.ca, and news.akhockey.ca (together, the "Site"), which showcase our hockey training programs, camps, coaching, and Skatemill training facility licensing. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site and how it's handled.
This policy does not cover AK Hockey 360, our separate training app, which has its own privacy policy covering accounts, video uploads, and AI-assisted analysis.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
This Site does not use tracking cookies. We use a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites — it only reports aggregate, anonymous traffic patterns.
We use trusted third-party providers — including an email marketing platform and a website hosting provider — to operate the Site. They only receive the information needed to perform their function and are bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations.
The Site is a general informational and marketing site, not directed at collecting information directly from children. Our mailing list signup is intended to be used by a parent or guardian on behalf of their family. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.
We keep your subscriber information for as long as you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward. You can request deletion at any time — see "Your Rights" below.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, or object to certain uses. Residents of Canada may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or their provincial privacy regulator. Residents of California may have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, or to unsubscribe from our mailing list, contact us using the details below.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our service providers may store or process information on servers located outside your province or country, including in the United States. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for these transfers.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your personal information, can be sent to admin@akhockey.ca.
